Remember Bernard Goetz?

Since it apparently has become a popular subject to play the race card of late, notice how the media descibes the convicted criminal as a "victim" and the man who refused to be a victim as a "racist."
Is Goetz a Jewish name? Does this make me anti-semitic as well?
I sure hope my boss doesn't find out. I think he used to be a carpenter.

I remember the incident well and it reaffirmed what many of us realize, is a right to travel unharrassed.
If you read the link, the supposed "victim" of Goetz, just got out of prison, 25 year sentence for rape. Goetz OTOH, is a businessman, still in NY.

I remember the incident well. I was living in Texas, and everyone there was saying "what the ----?".

It tells you a lot about MSNBC when they refer to that scum as "victim", but I guess we already know them for what they are.

Remember the incident very well..thought he had actually moved to a small town in upstate PA..but might be wrong. When you think of it would you have done the same thing as he did ?? Tired of riding a public transport and threated as you ride. Don't we all get tired of this...?? hope he is doing well...

Lived in NYC at the time..... Thought it was BS that he went to jail at all. Those that survived his defense of himself later sued Mr. Goetz and unfortunately won. All BS to me. Rode those subways every day and carried a hat pin for those men that thought they could cop a free feel in a crowded subway car.

Goetz served time in jail for the illegal possession of a handgun, not for using the handgun to defend himself. Therefore, how were the thugs the victim?

and people wonder why I moved away from NYC.......
