Iceland II

Iceland II

Here is an interesting story I came across.

It seems that Iceland has faced collapse and has already came out the far side of it.

They have a new constitution, all new elected officials and are open for business.

But our media does not want to cover the story.

In fact I saw a news story on this a couple of weeks ago- although they did not dissolve into chaos, there is a lot of unemployment and reductions in standards of living.

Conspiricy?

They only report what they think people want to see, on the "news".

Would Americans even be interested, in what happens in Iceland?

America is not the center of the universe.

Many nations are in trouble, as are we.

Here is a story of one such nation that seems to have traveled through their darkest hour already; whereas we have not yet gotten to our darkest hour yet.

Yes some people are interested.

You were the one who said that the Media did not want to report on this story.

I guess my question really was - why is the U.S. media, not reporting on Iceland?

Is there an ulterior motive, or are they just not interested?

A nation of poor fishermen... flirted with high finance, everyone's standard of living went from subsistence to 1st world standards... then they 'business model' collapses, they default on their loans, and burn millions of foreigners... then they're back to their original standard of living again (but get to keep all their new homes and nice toys they could never ever afford originally).

I'd say good luck ever getting credit again Iceland.

Wars have been started over less... but then, exactly what does Iceland have that anyone would want? Geothermal energy? Hard to bottle up and transport...

I mentioned Iceland and how they handeled their problem a few days ago. Didn't go over too good, most people just ignored it.
