I hope it comes out on DVD. I want to watch it over and over.
There's a similar trick involving casting out nines. My dad taught it to me, and my math teacher in 8th grade finally gave up, and asked how it's done.
Take any 4 numbers, add them together, and subtract the sum from the original 4 numbers. Leave out any one number, giving me the other 3, and I'll tell you which number you left out.
1234
-10
=1224
Leave out the 4, and give me 122, and the answer is 4.
No matter what numbers you start with the 4 numbers in the remainder will always add up to a multiple of 9. The only exception is if the person leaves out a 0 or a 9. Most times people will leave out the 0.
