Promotional Exam...Think of Me Today?

Today I sit for an oral Captain's exam at 1:30. As you guys recall in one of the posts I made, the Chief of the Fire Department has decreed that after this testing cycle, all promotions over Lieutenant will require a degree...this could be my last shot at a promotion. The pay raise is crucial for us at this point.

Can all of you good GC/PC friends send up prayers and good thoughts for me? I posted this in CF, but I know some of you don't read Upstairs!

In your posts over a period of time you have shown much compassion and commonsense. I have not doubt that you will do well. Nonetheless I am wishing you all the best.

Hey, just treat the examiners like they are members of HT and you'll do fine.

I was able to answer all questions completely, even if I missed a point somewhere along the line I am confident I left them knowing that I knew what I was talking about. It went much better than I thought it did. Now for the endless waiting for results...gah!
