Sharia law declaration raises concerns in new Libya
The announcement that Islamic sharia law will be the basis of legislation in newly liberated Libya has raised concerns, especially among women, despite Islamists insisting moderation will prevail.
Interim leader Mustafa Abdel Jalil said on Sunday, during his speech to the nation in Benghazi to formally declare the country's liberation from the ousted regime of Moammer Kadhafi, that sharia would be Libya's principal law.

It's driving me crazy! Obama never SAID he was Muslim! It's his birth father that is one. His last name makes everyone thinks he's Muslim. GIVE IT A BREAK!

Most people think he is a muslim he was raised in muslim schools.
Now you give it a break.

Actually he DID say he was-in an interview...we have in on youtube, however all the "Ds" say he 'misspoke'...prolly 'cause he didn't have TOTUS.
Plus, he was REGISTERED as a muslim in Indonesia where he went to school.

I could care less what Obama's religion is! I do already know from his actions where his allegiance lays.. I don't believe it is with America, the Constitution or the people of the USA..
I know some thing I'm wrong, all I can say is his actions speak louder then your words..
As to Sharia Law in Libya, I can only say, "Told you so".. Who didn't see that coming from this mess.. So now the radicals will control more of the ME and threaten us and Israel and any western culture...
But it's not like Obama helped them achieve this goal, wait, maybe he did.. And he did it with out Congressional approval.. Typical corrupt islamic politician!
Yet his supporters don't care that he violated the law of our land or that he now has helped at least 2 foreign governments be overthrown... By none other then Muslims and Sharia law..
Well imagine that!
