dr seuss to govt

lol, got this in an email today. a letter from dr. seuss to our govt. hahahha

Dr. Seuss:
I do not like this Uncle Sam, I do not like this health care scam. I do not like these dirty crooks, or how they lie and cook the books. I do not like when Congress steals, I do not like their secret deals. I do not like ex-speaker Nan, I do not like this "YES WE CAN". I do not like this spending spree, I'm smart, I know that nothing's free. I do not like their smug replies, when I complain about their lies. I do not like this kind of hope. I do not like it nope, nope, nope!

But you can't count. There's got to be a better place to post this.

That's perfect! Very amusing spin on the crooks in DC. Thanks for the laugh.

Evidently Pat Robertson agrees that something is wrong in Washington. He sees the earthquake damage to the Washington Monument as a sign from God that he's not happy with the way this country is being run.

Even if you accept that as fact, the reasons why God might be upset are not clear. If we look at Jesus' teachings then maybe it's because Washington hasn't been charitable enough, that universal health care didn't happen, or that Washington bailed-out banks (money changers).

While the clip wasn't specific, I suspect that Pat Robertson prefers to believe it's something more like gay tolerance.

I can't wait to hear what Pat Robertson thinks of Irene hitting DC today.

Nevada, silly question-

What did Pat Robertson have to do with the OP?

I usually respect (not always agree with) your opinion, but now you are trolling.

Please.

What? The Dr. Seuss jingle in the OP wasn't trolling?

This thread is not about Dr. Seuss, it's about disapproval of what the government is doing. That's common between both the original post and the Pat Robertson post.

I suppose it there is humor there; right-wing humor. But it's not like America's approval of congress has improved with republicans having a majority in the house.

Poll finds disapproval of Congress at all-time high

I suspect you wouldn't have distributed the jingle if it had slammed Boehner or complained that we don't have universal health care yet.
