Blessed Wisconsin!
Usually We to the west make fun of the cheesehead state but.........
When it comes to beer some folks are connoisseurs, but I'm just a sewer.
Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy a craft brewed Ale or Lager, but I also really love a hot weather guzzling beer, like most of our domestic swill. Today I discovered "Boxer Lager", made in Wisconsin, and $12.79 a 36 pack!
It is easily as good as any of the name brand US beers, at 1/3 the price!

We discovered 'Yuengling' while on vacation. Also found that you couldn't get it in NH! NY won't let it go thru.

And here I always thought you guys usually made fun of your corn-growing neighbors to the south! I have seen this Boxer Lager before but the price scared me off, may have to test it out....

Wisconsin? They're too busy responding to Chicago talking smack about the Packers to be worried with Iowa.

A great beer!
Tink, did you ever have Rhinelander? It's been a while, but I got it for $2.29 (+plus deposit) for an 8-pack of Rhinelander (in Michigan).

Isn't Yuengling beer made in China?
My beer preference is a very bitter, hoppy beer, preferably an India Pale Ale (IPA).

Y'all really do need to take up the art of home brewing. That way, you can make in quantity any style of beer you wish. In *quantity*. I don't even drink beer but I absolutely love making it.

There is nothing better than fresh beer. I've brewed hundreds of gallons of beer, 66 gallons at a time - along with several coworkers - at this place in St. Paul, MN ==> Vine Park Brewery

If TEOTWAWKI ever happens all you'll have to do is put a sign on yourself that says "I MAKE BEER" and you will be able to demand anything you want. You will be a woman who is priced beyond rubies. Queen of Beer, all beer-guzzlers will flock to your feet from miles around to scrape and bow to you and your every wish will be their command.
