Home invasion killing in the UK

I promised updates in my original thread (sister in law's friends/old neighbors that were arrested for killing a home invader), but I can't find it.

I'm pleased to report that it looks like there will be no charges

The shame of it is is that he was arrested in the first place.

Not charged since he used "reasonable force" in killing one of the intruders. If he had used "unreasonable force", maybe he would have faced charges?

Where would he get a bomb to kill them with? But if he ever used a gun at all in killing them he would be arrested and charged with murder no matter what they did.
