Flash Mobs - The Entitlement Mentality At Its Worst

AT ITS WORST - SO FAR!!

Flash Mobs, a new development of the "entitlement mentality" seem to be rapidly on the increase. They seem, at least from what is shown in the news media to be a largely Black Population phenomena. I wonder if it is somehow a disaffection with the lack Of "Obama Cash" that has been distributed??

I also think it is a sign of things to come and come quickly if the bottom falls out of the economy and/or there were truly shortages in the economy. Civil unrest is just around the corner if either happens.

I noticed the same thing when veiwing the flash mobs on the news reports.

Not trying to be racist but seems most conveniant store holdups are committed by blacks also. However, seems most bank holdups are committed by white people. I guess the white people expect to be paid more!

Us injuns, well we just fill up with gas and drive off without paying. Or rob the liquor store for cigarettes and wine.

I don't know if that is relevant to the times or not. Flash Mobs started about 5 years ago before Obama came on the scene, and it was mostly rich white kids then and it wasn't only happening in the United States. It was happening in Europe and Canada too.

It is not too hard to figure out why a majority of people in these "mob" situations are black. A high percentage of blacks live at or below poverty level. It is not racist. It is a sad truth. When a child grows up in an envoronment where the "paycheck" comes in the mail and they are surrounded by violence, that becomes the norm for them. Why complete high school when you can spend your time making money as a drug dealer? College is a long-term concept and people living in poverty are focused on short term "survival". When the first of the month rolls around and you get "paid', what gives you immediate gratification- paying the light bill or buying a new big screen tv? It doesn't matter at the moment that the tv is no good without power because having a big screen tv is a sign of success and an accomplishment.

I am yet to see that on the news. Not saying you are wrong, but I have just never seen it. It has been my experience that rich white kids break the law by doing drugs and the crimes they commit are more likely to be harmful to themselves than to society.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Flash mobs were supposed to be fun and entertaining and had nothing to do with any type of violence. The flash mobs I know get together and strike poses, dance, or sing.

These violent gatherings are giving flash mobs a bad name!

It was all over the news constantly here when they had those interviews of people wanting Obama cash. There were signing up down ,I think it was Cobo hall. Many different interviews of people with the same attitude. Wearing expensive leather coats,weaves talking on their cell phones. They really believed it was as simple as putting Obama in office and Money would just be forked over. I wounder how many people put themselves in bad financial predicaments thinking they were going to get a windfall check.

Most were hoping that with the election of a black man to the highest office of the land, the black community would have a new sense of hope that they truly could achieve anything.

Instead, it has made the entitlement community even more brazen, more hateful toward "the man". It has given thugs the idea that they can now get away with anything, and they will not be prosecuted by a brutha, right Eric Holder?

I think these riots and violence are being planned, and they will get worse. Think the New Black Panthers.

And just like after 9/11 when it was up to mainstream muslims to counteract the bahavior of extremists within their midst, which they did not, it is now up to upstanding black citizens to put a stop to this behavior. Whites can do nothing about it because everything we say is racist.

My nephew manages a convenience store overnight. He has to shut down because of flash mobs. Groups of 30-40 black people show up after the bars close down, and wreak havoc in his store. They park their cars all in a heap so that no one can get in or out, then rush the store, stealing and trashing the place, literally opeing things and pouring out the contents.

And they know the police can't do anything about it. The cops will come in and try to disperse the crowds, putting the real trouble makers in zip tie cuffs. they will haul off two or three maybe, and they get right back out because there is no room in jail or time in the courts to deal with troublemakers.


And so it continues, every week. Some of the stores just have to close in advance knowing that these same groups of people are going to do this every week.

Businesses have to close because it is too dangerous to stay open. Nice.

I haven't checked but I'm willing to bet those early flash mobs were nothing but silly people who got together to dance in the middle of the bus station. Not to rob a store.

There have been 'smash and grab' robberies for many years. I remember a briefing many, many, many, many (well you get the point) about how to hang leather coats/jackets "properly". You hung them with the hanger hooks alternating so someone couldn't come in and grab an armful off the rod and run.

But these were few and far between. The same can be said for home invasion robberies.

It started over10 years ago. I used to be a Security Guard and had one in a Wendy's we were guarding. It was started by a person that was drunk and they trashed the store. I and a Cop that happen to come by stopped it and made them all clean up the store. The person that started it said he was the owners son. I said I doubt it some body beat his father to the punch because the owner has to pay for the damage and his father wasn't in the habit of paying for what drunks did to have fun.I called his dad and he prosecuted him and the others. It took 10 police cars to transport them to jail.

Roving bands of young men storming through the villages and markets, turning over stalls, whacking people on the head etc...
And groups of horsemen thundering through, crushing people under the hooves, grabbing up people and dragging them along...

This is nothing new.
It has just been a while.

Honestly, I knew a guy, a conservative in Oakland, CA., who is married to an uber-lib.
