I need some clarification

I was told today by someone who usually knows this kind of stuff that, China has offered to trade our debt with them for all the federal and state land in Idaho...apparently it's about an even trade monetarily.... Has anyone else heard this...

I though you knew they did that a long time ago and before we actually made the dept now what will they do. It is a hoax. China doesn't want places in the US that they cant live on or produce anything on.Now if they were talking about farm land or a city I might be more interested.

Very true!, the deal fell through when the US refused to dig a canal to allow them water access. The Chinese felt they could feed their people on Idaho's potato crop, taking ID potatoes off of the US market would drive prices up. Maine was all for it seeing how it would boost their economy greatly. I believe the plan was originally brokered years ago by Edwin Muskie as a way to eliminate our debt.
