My DH owns a small business. He's thrilled it went up "JUST" 28% this year. The last 3 years it's gone up 30%, 15% (but coverage went down) and this year just 28%.

As it is, if he didn't have to pay for insurance he could hire another full time, $60,000 a year employee.

Yay Obamacare, it's doing what it was intended to do.
(Hint: it's purpose is not to provide health care)

All the docs around here have turned into nothing but salesmen for the high dollar meds for whatever the blond chicks in the black skirt suits with the wheeled sample cases you see in the waiting room are peddling.

I finally figured out that when I got to go see my P.T. Barnum of a doctor that the easiest way to get him to fill the time tested affordable generic meds that best treat the health issues I have and keep away from him away from peddling me the high dollar kickback new rollouts is to wear a garlic poultice and shove my refill list at him.

Usually I can cut the 15 minutes he allotts per patient exam for me down to 5 to 7 minutes and I finally got him back to writing me for 6 months and seeing me only twice a year when I finally got it through to him that I purchase my meds out of pocket and when he tells his "this preventative treatment can add years to your life" scare speech I remind him those years are on the adult diaper end so I don't care and when I feel bad pains I just take an asprin and a sleeping pill and go to bed so if its something like a heart attack or such I wouldn't know or care because it will take me out in my sleep.

My corporate insurance goes up double digits and my coverage goes down EVERY TIME. And they consume 20-30% just to shuffle paperwork and ration my health care.

It's a great system. We should keep it!

Americans need to start taking control of their health if any of us are going to be able to afford health care in a few years.

Get off the couch, go for a walk, get your heart rate up to 100% and hold it for a few minutes several times each week, put down the beer, eat moderate amounts of good food, sleep well, and have lots of sex.

Do those things and we could cut this nations health care costs by 50%.

My insurance I buy for employees has stayed fairly stable, and even gone down once over the last 10 years... This last renewal... 37% increase... I about had a fit.. Another of those and either employees will have to pick up some of the cost, benefits will have to go down, or I have to lay off..

Thanks dems...

Now give me a nice fat raise in costs with a big energy tax bill please and just finish me off....

.................American(S) always believe in the Free Market System until a "For profit insurer" kicks'em in the Gonads with a Big price\Profit increase ! The Blue Cross\Blue Shield companies for each state have been shielded from Anti trust violations and so , for "Non Profits" they have grown very Arrogant and very Profitable whilst funneling all that ...."NON" profitable income into very large Salaries and donations too Lobbying activities too ensure their continued Anti Trust status . And , some folks think we should repeal the Health care Bill , In TOTO , which would allow the NON Profit Insurers as well AS the For profit Insurers too Utilize an even larger pair of gonad busters , than they used prior too the passage of the HC Bill . , fordy

What Shrek says 10 times over. People no longer question their physicians. Instead they readily accept that they need a MRI when a common old X-ray may be perfectly sufficient. They're physicians, not gods. Take an active role in your healthcare. Watch your healthcare expenses go down.

Gotta agree with most of this.
In the meantime, Obamacare will starve us into good health.
