Youtube production

I am wondering if any one would have ideas on what a good but cheap camcorder would be good for youtube videos. I guess the new ones have a flash drive that comes with the camera so it can simply be plugged into any computer. Not sure the price I could get a used one with flash drive for. I have seen a lot of webcam videos on the site and prefer camcorder. Any ideas.

I would recommend a Vado. http://us.creative.com/products/welc...p?category=833

A friend of mine has it and raved about it so I bought it.

It is the size of a cell phone, has no software to install in your computer, comes with a recharger port, and the batteries last f-o-r-e-v-er without a charge. You literally take it out of the box, shoot, pop it into your computer, and it sucks the vids right out. It doesnt even have a cord to lose and mess with. A small plug in device pops right out of the side of the camera and you you just push the camera right into your computer tower. It also shoots in HD and only costs about 99.00.

I have a JVC (Everio) palm-sized camcorder. I love it! It has 45X zoom and an advanced stabilizer. Turns on when you flip the viewer panel open.
It has a one button touch to upload to youtube. Extremely easy to use, takes clean, clear video... and also can take still shots, so it replaces having to also carry a camera.

Here's a link for reference. I don't remember what I paid for mine, but less than this. I just wanted you to see a picture of it, and read about it's features.

I just use the movie feature on the digital camera I bought for $50 a few years ago. It isn't high quality, but it's satisfactory for youtube.

Hey, It's got over 100,000 views.

To tell you the truth, videos that are high resolution don't play well at youtube. My computer and Internet connection are fast enough to watch streaming high resolution videos, but very often youtube doesn't deliver them fast enough to avoid pauses & break-up. Think about that before you invest in expensive equipment.
