Michio Kaku - Solar Storm
I know we have had threads on solar storms before, but don't remember seeing anything specifically by Michio Kaku. I have been a fan of his ever since I first heard him on Coast to Coast AM many years ago and from his 1999 book Visions. He is a theorectical physicist specializing in string field theory and also a futurist.
Possible Solar Storm in 2012

We forget that the space age is very young; we've only had a few of these sunspot cycles to worry about, and for the most part we have dodged the bullet.
