Chinese manufacturing activity declines for third straight month

The rate of expansion is the lowest in the last 17 months.

Where did it say it declined ?? I read it just didn't grow as fast as it had . After all you can only load so many ships at a port

US factory orders dropped 1.2 percent in June to a seasonally adjusted $406.4 billion, the Commerce Department said. It was the second consecutive decline after nine straight months of gains.

The rate of expansion declined. Headlines are headlines. Evidently you missed my explanation, "The rate of expansion is the lowest in the last 17 months."

as long as our consumer confidence is down, China is going to slow also. I heard they were filling cargo boxes full of stuff just to keep people working. they can only keep that up for so long.
It's like the lots full of American made cars they kept making and no one was buying, till cash for clunkers any way.

China is exporting to lot of country . Am sure the are buying with the money that was stole from our tax payers to boost their economy
