Like the robins arriving in the springtime

I saw my first Sunday Night Football commercial of the upcoming season on tv yesterday. Guess that means football season isn't too far away.

GROAN! I receive only a few channels with broadcast television and the coming football season mean at least 3 channels carrying multiple games on Saturdays and Sundays meaning once again that there will be absolutely no reason to turn the television set on for. -----not that there is much reason to do so when football and basketball aren't on. Thank goodness for the Net and the many the many show and movies options it now provides.

The OP made me smile. I LOVE football. I love autumn, I think, because the smell of the cooling air, the coming of winter, etc, reminds me of FOOTBALL!!!

Go Steelers!!

Football? I'm still wondering when baseball season is going to start! Everytime I turn on the t.v. Basketball is still on. It's like "D@ng, another basketball game on". Summertime, burning up outside, fireworks popping everywhere, and they're still playing basketball on t.v. When's basketball season going to end? I'm tired of it!

I can hardly wait for football season.
The first Husker game is always an event around here.
We'll probably have some people out to watch it since we have a big TV and HD.
The only downside is this will be the first year my boys won't be here for the opener.
