How Many Superdome's of Oil?

You are supposed to answer the question BEFORE you read the article.

The article really puts the spill/leak into perspective.

By the Numbers

Well, I was going to vote on the 1-10 selection, but since you provided the link, I cheated and now say less than one........

How many super domes can you place into the gulf? When you make a good idea about that how full is it?

Drill Baby Drill! No worries, a few buckets of oil won't hurt anything.

A friend was asking for some perspective last week on the spill. It (then) calculated out that the largest tanker in the gulf held over 2.5 times the spill.

It's a bit deceptive to look at it as if the most important question is about filling up the Gulf with oil. You don't need to fill the Gulf with oil to ruin it. One gallon of oil pollutes a LOT more than one gallon of water. Similarly, one "Superdome" of oil pollutes a LOT more than one "Superdome" of the Gulf.
Comparing volume of oil as if it's a valuable measure sounds like something Michael Moore would do.
It might put the spill in a SPECIFIC perspective, maybe something BP might encourage to convince people it's not so bad.
I notice they're still spending money on their ad campaign aimed at convincing people that BP is a conscientious company.
