I'm a bit of a nit picker but today isn't the day you thank a vet, that's in November. Today is the day we remember and honor those who died while serving. If you know someone who has seen combat don't thank him, you would not thank someone who has lost a family member, tell him how sorry you are that some of his family didn't make it home.
To those who I wish could read this thank you and some of us will always remember you and why you did it. . . .de oppresso liber
