Right. This past spring my geese laid tons of eggs I tried
incubating, but my gander was sterile! Word locally that
I could sell some goslings for decent price.
This was really the first year I expanded with fowl. Hatched
and sold over 100 purebred audtralorp chicks. Ducklings are
not in demand, but interesting as hobby birds.
I got into game birds, which I like really well, especially
Chukars. I'm planning to hatch a bunch next spring.
As for geese eggs, again there is a small market women
in the Easter egg decorating craft (Ukrainian) looking for
making each egg worth more....see where this goes.
The other thing is I'm back to getting some normality with
Two jobs, but I want much less about business, haggling and
all that sort of thing:
Callie, good ideas, but that's just not for me. And I've had also
My fill of craft shows in the past. It's too much time away from the
Stead. Then, if I set up on site, I would have to quit a paying
job that I yet need to keep. I know, it sounds difficult. That's why
