Yes I have been. The last two times I have baked some, it turned out really well. This was made from Terri's bread mix. I did add some more yeast to make sure it would rise. I think I'm finally figuring out how to knead it correctly. The time before that was an Artisan bread you let sit over night. It was really good.

Grilled out some burgers/dogs/chicken for my granddaughter's 8th birthday. Wanted to make smores, but the weather didn't cooperate at all. Don't know who was unhappier with the wet weather, the kids who had to stay in or the adults who had to stay in with the kids.

You know, prosciutto-wrapped honeydew melon is an old, stand-by hors d'oeurve... I'll bet it would be good, doodle. But... what sort of bread?? Something with a bit of rosemary in it, maybe?

Salmon and chantrelles, raspberries for dessert. Same ol' stuff.

Wild milkweed pods? I thought those were poisonous. Apparently not though, huh?

SIL keeps leaving cucumbers and summer squash every Monday she comes down to see mom. I cooked 150 snake eggs for #3 sons wedding Saturday, so I had quite a bit of short bacon pieces, a jalapeno, and a onion. Cut the summer squash up into a bag of cornmeal, and fried it along with the bacon, jalapeno, and onion. Along with a sliced and salted cuke. A simple meal for a simple person!
