Homesteading skills for dummies

I kid you not. I added it to my bookmarks

The short section on taters clearly explains why spuds grow so well in worm bins even though I disagree with the opinion of not using store bought sprouted as seed and have had a few crops in a row produce well from sprouted store bought spuds.

My opinion on the store bought /sprout inhibitor issue is if a tater has been treated with sprout inhibitor yet produces a half dozen 2 inch sprouts, any residual inhibitator is about like hanging a pine tree air freshener in a dumpster full of 3 day old gopher guts or thrown out Chinese leftovers ( I guess that could be six of one or half a dozen of another )

The essentials of vermicomposting is pretty accurate for being "for dummies" basic also. The two tier tote bin is almost identical to what I first built and tossed table cloths over to be able to use them as end tables in my apartment back in 1985.
