Yes, yes and yes Go Raiders! Will miss Al, should be interesting how the team develops. The last years Al was at the helm, I think it hindered the team in some ways..........what a iconoclast....RIP.

Roll Tide!!!! I LOVE college football and can't wait for Sept 15th... Bama's first SEC game... against Arkansas. I had to miss it last year cause my little girl broke her arm at the soccer game that morning. I love tailgating... good food, friends and football!

Hail to the Redskins!

Football is what makes it possible to handle my unhappiness when summer ends.

I am more prepared this year than I was last year considering two of the local broadcast stations have added subchannels that they do not pollute with regular network sports overload as the local CBS affiliate does.

I cannot believe that there are so many armchair batters , b ballers and quarterbacks in our area that need antenna access to their ball games. Most of the sports addicts I know have the premium cable and satellite packages.

I'd rather be hopping up and down with a snake and a rat in my shoes than watch anything. I cannot stand being still, nor watching TV either one. Heck, it's more fun vomiting.

Those premium stations cost an arm and a leg, ask me how I know! My youngest son would not make it without access to Raider's games every week. He is sixteen, writes for the Silver and Black Daily (Raiders Blog). He tells me having the premium football package is vital to his career (plans to take journalism, sports specifically). Considering how guilty I would feel ruining his life and future career, I manage to pay the monthly fee (outrageous $'s).

well, since they stopped playing in the mud and snow and such - it's not as much fun.

Also, half times use to be much better.

(I am not a serious watcher, but remember when Dad would have the big tv going, and my little b & w 9 inch on top, so he could keep up with two of the big games, on two networks at one time).

Ditto for me. Go Pack! Go Badgers! College ball is one of the things I miss the most with no TV. Oh well, but that leaves more time for hunting. Woo Hoo!

No, actually I'm a finance major, but considering where I am now (meaning here), I probably should have taken an ag major.
