Question about picture sizing........sorta.

My wife took a picture of my while cutting wood. She took the picture holding the camera vertically. She then installed the picture as the background for my desktop.

The effect is absolutely hilarious! The computer compressed the pic to fit the screen. The shortest and fattest lumberjack in the world, holding the most massive splitting maul you have ever seen!

Is there any way I can save this to my pictures or transfer it to photobucket account, saving the compressed version of the picture?

Another thought is can I do a screen shot and save it to my pictures, and if so how do I do this?

With photoshop you can unlink the vertical/horizontal aspect ratio, then resize as you please. If don't have photoshop you PM the photo to me I can stretch it for you.

Looks like you got it stretched pretty well on your own.

Yeah, turns out you can use the resize feature on photobucket. Just uncheck the "save proportions" box.

So did you get the compressed copy saved to "my pictures" on your computer?

If not, right click over the photobucket picture you just posted above. Then left click on "save picture as" and that should save it to "my pictures" on your computer.
