Windows users -- apply urgent updates today

Microsoft has new updates that are said to fix a bug that could allow someone to take control of your PC.

I did the update and FF has been screwed up all day. Its usually rock solid. Doesn't respond. Crashes. I want to back out of it.

Had trouble with my wireless too! had to restart to get it back

Well, then, there you go. Incontrovertible proof that applying Windows updates is never a good thing to do.

Seriously, I wouldn't blame it on updates just yet; I've had problems with both of those myself recently and it had squat to do with updates.

For sure.
A person especially running Window$ should always do those critical updates.
Even those running Mac's, even have updates once in awhile, and I never skip even one of those, and when I had windows, not one critical update was missed.
Although those that are running anything older then Window$ XP with SP2 will not have any updates, and are running at risk every time they are connected to the internet.
