Amazing!!!!

Not thinking, I set 2 all in one printers on top of my closed HP laptop (the one that i was asking about a while ago--remember?? it had a dead pixel???) and after I took them off, the dead pixel is gone!!! HOW DID THAT FIX IT?????????????

seriously there are motor magnets in the printers couldve done something weird to it.
Or the pressure evenly distributed the weight clearing off the dead pixel.
or youre just lucky LOL

Thanks for the tip, 14yearpcmaker.

I've now piled stuff on top of my dead scanner, with the full expectation that it will once again become functional.
