I hope this is the place for this. I bought it from a farmer in 1995. It still had some hay in the back even. It was a rusted mess. Seven years ago I finished a frame off restoration on it. Did the car show scene for a while. My wife and I are building our own little farm so I decided to turn it into a 4x4 and put her back to work. I bought a 64 factory 4x4 and redid the chassis and moved my motor and body over to it. I should have it going again in a month or two. I don't have a picture from 95 on my computer.

I have no idea. It took me five years to do the frame off doing it night and weekends. I've been turning it into a 4x4 for five months working when it's warm enough to go out there.

After were done setting up the property the way we want it I have a bunch of model A parts that I'm going to start on. It's a 28 Ford/Briggs truck.

I've been able to do some work on the truck. I sold my lowrider stuff and bought some goodies for it. Sitting on some new rubber. I also found a pic from the day I brought it home.

Wow I love the conversion your doing! I'm rebuilding a 54 Chevy myself and have tossed around the idea of a era correct NAPCO 4x4 setup. Keep up the good work!

Cropduster 02/23/15 04:11 PM

Thanks! I hope to have it back on the road real soon.

Now, You are going to make me want to buy one!! Nice!!

Cropduster 03/05/15 01:02 PM

It has that effect. The manager at O'rily's bought one cause he got sick of seeing mine and wanted one. lol. I try to avoid car shows for that reason.

Cropduster 03/15/15 10:28 AM

I measured it up yesterday and the chassis swap gave me 16" of lift.

SquonkHunter 03/22/15 11:18 AM

Very nice! The '64-'66 models always had a special place in my heart since I learned how to drive in Grandpa's new '65 pickup.

Bellyman 03/22/15 12:08 PM

Nice!! I have always kinda thought that an old truck fixed up nicely would be a neat truck to take the veggies to the farmers market... along with dressing the part of "ol' farmer Brown". :)

Cropduster 04/07/15 07:40 AM

Got the truck running. Now I have a lot of fine tuning to do.
