Thanks. I'll go with an outdoor panel at the end.

My paddlewheel is busily turning out in the driveway so the next step is to get the power run.

all was trying to say on the middle pole is to put the attachment point off on the side of the pole, (insulator or lag eye bolt I would prefer the insulator), and hook the wedge clamp on to one side, then place the next wedge clamp on to the wire to support from the other direction with very minimal loop to nearly non existence loop, I don't think there would be any rubbing or any need to use any additional support. ( have seen this used on a lot of street light poles).

I was trying to see if the use of a "cable suspension clamp" would work in this instance, but I can not find any place to approve it or dis approve it use, similar to these, the picture is of a double system, Clamping it to the bare neutral wire,

or here is jsut the clamp

the concern I have is the potential galvanic action, of dissimilar metals, I did not want to suggest the method until I could find if it was an approved method, and as of yet I have not found that out.

I have done a lot of looking to see how others have done it, and the closest I have seen it light poles in the local town as there are very few double spans, and in the towns around here, they use the wedge clamps very similar to the way I described above, with almost no loop.

My power company gave me a hanging insulator to hold it away from the pole. I'll run the line through the insulator and then use a couple of strands of support wire wrapped around the wire starting on one side, then under the insulator and ending on the other side to keep it secure in the insulator.

For the end I bought an outdoor panel.

Puller

Have you thought about using the Chinese fingercuff (handcuff) type of puller?
Those are the woven gizmos that you stick your fingers into and the more you pull the more they tighten. Same for wires except they are of woven wire and have a loop woven into the end to hook the pulling rope onto.
