update cat and kidney disease
Spooky is having a second episode of kidney failure disease. For how bad his various test figures are, he acts pretty normal. Not acting sick, though interest in food and eating has changed about weekly for perhaps a month. We'll be giving sub-q fluids at home, and enticing him with whatever he will eat. I'm the one who wields the needle, and it surely causes me anxiety. This is the sweetest cat, a best-cat-ever variety, so I'll do what I need. A cat is a cat, but another loss, after more than two really long years before I lost my declining and very ill parents, is just too hard to contemplate.
