Help me please!!! Dog - urinating ALOT

We have a Sheltie/Lab mix indoor dog who is 5 yrs old... she has a very sensitive belly- she gets noooooo table scraps- but when my brother comes over he refuses to listen and always slips her something- little mind you- but I end up being up half the night cause she gets the runs and I give her Imodium.. per a vet friend...
Well today my brother stopped over and slipped her a lil smokie wrapped in a piece of crescent roll.. I have had her out to pee like 8 times in the last hour- I was thinking it was her getting the runs cause it is dark out and I assumed it was the normal Uncle Ira gave her a piece of human food- until I realized she is peeing- not pooping-
I don't think the one lil smokie would make her pee this much? but so suddenly- ? I can not think of what to do for her- I mean does the normal plain rice and boiled hamburg and an Imodium work?

I would have her checked for diebetes. Maybe the lil smokie set it off. She might have had it for a while and that just triggered something.

Frequent urination may mean she has a urinary tract infection. I would recommend that you take a urine sample to your vet to check. Frequent urination can also be diabetes or injesting something toxic. It is also possible that she was fed something very salty and she drank an excessive amount of water. That could have triggered her need to pee so much. If it continues more than the one night she needs to be checked by the vet.

I agree with YodelDogs - was she drinking a lot since he gave that to her?

Oh, and I'd totally smack him and tell him NOT to do it again! That's ridiculous that he doesn't follow your rules for keeping your dog healthy. It makes me furious for you.
