Here we go again! (pics soon!)

Well hubby and i went to our local pet store just because we were on that side of town and i asked to hold one of the rats (they know me there, i go in and hold rats all the time) and the guy who is allways there when i go in, when i asked if i could hold a rat says "You can buy one!" and showed me this cute dumbo rat baby who was also a rex so he had curly fur. he wanted me to buy him becuase he really didn't want him to to become snake food.

Well i held that rat for awhile and put him back to pick up a different one but they were all huddles up in the corner of their cage but when i put my hand in this one little thing just ran up to me like "pick me up now!" so i held her and now she lives at my house lol.

She's the cutest little thing! all black with a white V on her nose with a white tummy.

I need name ideas! We are going out tomorrow to get her a friend because she is all alone in a giant cage (and you should really have 2 rats anyways) She is happily munching away on a sunflower seed as i type this. I will get pics up soon of her and her new friend. I might pick up that curly one but i duno we'll see who strikes my fancy! lol.

I wasn't really looking to buy any rats but i just love them so much i miss the original 5 (even smudge the murderer) I always wanted a Siamese rat so i got one and he turned out to be nutso, hated me, and murdered all my other ratties. I miss my hairless Dumbo Nicodemus (nikki for short) He was my favorite of the bunch.

My new girl (i think, shes so small i cant tell yet) is such a chatter box! Some of it is a ratty cold from the stress of moving in (i'm treating it) but she's such a talker always chattering away at me and giving kisses.

Went in today and someone had gone in and bought ALL the little rats, getting more in today so were going over first thing in the morning. All they had left was large and jumbo rats, one boy was about 8 times the size of my little one lol. She'd be breakfast! Almost snagged one girl who was obviously preggers, but didn't. I need little ones so mine will have a friend not a bully lol.
