Was the snake still alive?

I saw a chicken swallow a small snake once----I wondered how long it stayed alive inside that chicken!

ICK!!!

We used to have a cat that loved to catch small snakes and leave them on the doorstep for us. My two kids learned learn quick to put their shoes on before going outside. Stepping on a snake barefoot really freaked them out...even though they were always dead.

Last time my cat did that, it was part of a bird he puked up!

You know what's really gross about it?

Instead of cleaning it up, my daughter went and borrow the neighbor's dog -- and the dog cleaned it up for us!

One of my 2 used to LOVE to eat crickets then retch them back up inside. Luckily he stopped eating them & kept what was inside, in. Now he just likes to bring me presents...mice, lizards, rats, LIVE baby cottontails (usually in good shape, he gets put in & I go let it go far away).

Well we have one of our cats that is doing the same thing. Only he made himself sick to the point that we have had to make two trips to the vet and am out somewhere around about $110. It caused respiratory problems and what the vet thought was somesort of major infection.
He eats them and keeps it all down. I know because he has brought them to us too.
