Great news!!!!

After posting on the Esther update thread I went upstairs to check on her. She had PEED and POOPED in the litter box since I was last in there!!!

I don't think I've ever been so excited about a cat using the litterbox!

You do realize this is probably the only forum where people would get so excited about a cat using the litter box .....

I'll second that comment. As I was reading this I was laughing and thinking the same thing.

LOL...I told hubby I had to get on HT and let everyone know and he wasn't sure anyone wanted to hear that my cat peed and pooped, but I assured him y'all did!

It finally rained today too so it's been a topnotch day!

Woot !

I too, was counting litter clumps when Scotch was first hurt! I found out he only poops every 3 days!

When you have 4-5 cats using the litter box, it's hard to tell who does what.

That is WONDERFUL news!! BTDT. Had a similar situation with one of our kitties in the past and I remember that great feeling of relief to see she had finally done her business in the litterbox. Hope Esther continues to improve!

During the night she peed again and looks like she ate a little more cat food. This morning she's been having sneezing spells, which we hope are a sign that all the mucous in her sinuses is starting to break up.

Hopefully, she's finally turning a corner and is headed toward good health again!

Another pee and poop last night, but no food consumed. I gave her a can of tuna flavored cat food and she hasn't touched it. Didn't appear to have touched the dry food either.

The congestion seems a tad bit better, but she is definitely going back to the vet Monday for a referral to a specialist.
