starting a pet treat business but have some Q's

Well we are in the planning and experimenting with recipe creations for a dog treat business. We will be sending in samples to a lab for each formula as is required by law and of course there is a licensing fee......What doesn't have a fee in MI
Anyways....
My husband threw out a beer flavored treat thinking it would be great for guy sales hehe. I have made beer bread many times with it acting as your rising agent. My issue is that I know dogs are not suppossed to drink beer (although I know of lots of college guys who think it's great to share) but if it is baked/cooked the alcohol will have been cooked off. Is there anything in what is left that is bad for dogs?
Also, I know onions are a no no but are there any other fruits, veggies or herbs that need to be avoided?

We will be starting with a rabbit and sweet potato treat with the rabbit having been raised by us and hopefully be next year the sweet potatos as well.

any opinions or experience would be appreciated!
thanks!

Don't know about the beer..All I know is grapes, raisins, chocolate and too much garlic are not good for dogs.
Good luck with your new business! Be sure to let us know when you are up and running so we can order from you

Brewers yeast is a good source of Vit B for dogs so I'd have thought de-alcoholized beer would be fin
