A name for our new GS puppy?

We just put a deposit down on a German Shepherd female puppy. She is black and tan and we are trying to think of names. I don't want something terribly cutesy (like Molly) but haven't come up with much yet. So far we have:

Sasha
Ayla
Raina
Savara
Savannah
Katy

Any other suggestions?

Thank you!

I would go for something traditionally German. I love naming my animals based on their heritage. =D

My Sis had a beautiful GS named Dame Wilhelmina. They called her Willa. Always liked that name.

I like the idea of German names as well..
Erna-serious, noble
Clarimonda-brilliant protectress
and of course, Fraulein.
Dognames.com has them by breed and country etc...

Sasha is appealing.

The AKC title name doesn't have to be what you call her. If she's born in Oregon. Sasha Von Oregon would be cool. The American GSD vs. Old German lines have changed so much. My first GSD was a Berliner (Berlin, Germany 1977). My last was from East German/Czech working GSD lineage, he was similar to my first.

I love GSD but now we are trying out a new breed, Blue Heeler. Nmaed him Sam. 'Sam I Am' grin

Our old GSD was from AKC lines, so we had to think of an AKC type name. We wanted to incorporate the names of both parents lines, and since we considered breeding her, we wanted a name that we could spin off of for pups. We chose; Lady Nova's Black Hills Dakota. Her nickname was Koti. We could then spin off of the Black Hills theme, the star theme, or the Native American theme.
