Help me select a name please!

I'm going to pick up my afghan hound puppy on my birthday, July 5th. It's a blue brindle female. I need to tie in one or two names if possible. Our Kennel name is "Nostalgia" (for our Pyrs). I'd like to tie that into our afghans too. I'd like to also tie in a play on the mothers name, if possible. ("Sardis Out on a Whim"). So, here are my choices so far. Feel free to suggest something else if you are so struck!

1. Nostalgia's Mystical Whimsy (call name; Mysti or Whimsy)

2.Nostalgia's Whimsical Wind (Again, call name Whimsy)

3. Whimsy's Will O' the Wisp (call name either Whimsy or Willow)

4. Nostalgia's Blue Whimsy (call name Whimsy)

Any others?

This is the bitch with the pups just days after birth. My little pup should look a lot like her mother. ( click on thumbnail to enlarge picture)

Those are pretty elaborate names, but I do like Willow.

As far as being elaborate, they are just the registered names. The call name is something simple, like Willow, Whimsy, or Mysti.

My first afghan ever, when I was a little girl, was named Willow.

WOW!!! What a beautiful dog. I like the first name you picked out, but I'm partial to the name Misti. I use to have a dog named Misti.

I like the last one best. The breeder doesn't want you to use their kennel name?

I like number 3 and calling her Willow. Seems like a very fitting and pretty name for your new pup.

Thanks so much everyone! Between this thread, and the one in CF, we seem to have a trend developing! I'll be sure and let you know which name we settle on, but until I decide, keep the suggestions and ideas coming.
