A lab pup and a puddle.

Somebody found a mud puddle this morning.

Who me? What mud, I'm not muddy!

We found a little cleaner puddle to wash up in.

I'll get that invisible duck!

Do I have to come in now?

Very handsome lab you've got there. Hunting? Show? Other?

Molly, is going to be trained to do something a little different from most dogs. I am going to train her to find moose and deer antlers, so I guess she will be a hunter of sorts. She comes from a line of "English" type labs bred for field work. She will be more of the stockier show type in appearance but with a bit more energy then most show labs. Her breeders focus more on hunting aspect then the show. It took me a long time to find what I was looking for since the majority of labs around here are American type field types, tall, thin and leggy.

I saw a video of a great Lab job the other day. Fishing!! The guy had tied a line and hook to a thick plastic bottle and then thrown it in the lake. When the bottle started bobbing from a fish on the line the Lab would jump in and retrieve the bottle and tow the fish into shore where the man scooped up the fish in a net.!!! I thought that was great and the dog was so pleased when it brought in the fish!

Your puppy is adorable.

Jason, what type of camera are you using?

Jason, she is beautiful and the pictures really are fantastic! I'd be VERY interested in where you got her if you don't mind sharing your source. We've been looking for exactly what you've got for about 15 yrs and not had much luck finding it. We do have a pup on order right now but I'm willing to keep my options open.

She's gorgeous, Jason. Simply gorgeous and looks like she's LOADED with personality. I, too shoot with a Rebel XT. Gotta love that rapid-fire shooting, i've caught so many wonderful unexpected shots that way!
