Anybody raising Gotland, Spelsau or Old Norwegian?

Hello,

The only breed the will be in this country, will be the Gotland. But Laurie is, as fas as I know, not going to be selling any for a few years. She was able to bring Semen in from a UK Gotland Ram. They will not be a purebred Gotland either, but a Re-make because the USA will not allow live sheep imports.

The other closest breeds you will have to the old Norwegian breeds are the Icelandic.
There are lots of Icelandic sheep in the USA.

Wouldn't Shetlands also qualify as Norse-type sheep? There are lots of them in this country, too.

Opps, yes Shetland's would be, as would Finn's.. for some reason I just forgot about them.

Icelandic sheep would qualify too, right? We have two small herds, Shetland and Icelandic.
