Two new bucks

We went Saturday to get 2 new bucks near here, we found a young woman whom had posession of 150 rabbits,7 breeds; one of which was a national 'best of show' rabbit. Her efforts and family cooperation resulted in a very neat operation, national level of rabbit breeding. We asked her to check out this site and join if she wished; she was extremely knowledgeable.

There were Flemmish giants, twice the size of common cats, rabbits that looked like you could saddle up and ride! Mini rex was the most common breed, they were in many sizes, from tiny newborns to full grown critters. The piles of free fertilizer were more than ample, we were jealous! The entire operation was under a canopy roof, the water system was automatic, only feeding was needed to be done by hand.

Hopefully she will come here and like what is offered, we tried to persuade her to come onboard. A high school junior whom has had best of show rabbits would be a future leader here.

Moopup,

I'm guessing you live somewhere other than Maine . . . I'd love some flemish giants...but can't find any sources nearer than 4 hrs away from where I live. When you said 'under canopy' I assume that's year round? I wish I could see her set up, it sounds impressive. what state do you live in?
Sherry,
who's new to this site

Bradenton, Florida here; just below Tampa. The Flemmish giants do not do real well here, the heat is a bit much for them. Yes, the canopy is open year round; a freeze is rare here dureing winter.
