New to Mini Rex..Question

I have a Mini Rex doe that should be kindling in the next 6 days. I'm revamping a 2ft x 2ft cage with a drop nest ( I found instructions). I am actually putting a smaller nest into a bigger one that will be lined with 1 inch foam board (the bunnies will not be able to get to it but it should keep them warmer). I intend to put straw all over the cage just in case she does not want to use it.

My question ... Seeing that the Mini Rex have such short hair..Do they pull any amount at all? Do I have to substitute with dryer lint? I have no extra fur from last years culls because I used it on my mamas last month.

I was also wondering I have a Mainecoon cat, he has baby fine hair about 2 to 3 inches long. I get a lot of hair when I brush him......if I washed the hair and used it in the nest would the bunnies get allergic reactions?

What do you think?

YES...I got a pair September 28 .I had to wait until October 31 as the buck was too young yet to mate.

The doe is a blue mini Rex pedigree with Chocolate Black, broken black and lilac in her lineage, and a lot of legs....GG Sire was a lilac with 18 legs, and Sire..another lilac had 4 legs etc....

The buck is a black with lilac Sire, 3 legs, Dam broken black, lilac G. Sire..3 legs. With more legs throughout, there is black, broken black, chocolate, lilac, broken lilac and lynx in his lineage .....I JUST WANT TO SHOW that it looks very promising for showing the offspring.

Fingers crossed as this is her first kindling. Oh, I forgot to thank everyone for the reassurance about the fur and yes my cat has fur not hair as I wrongfully stated.

Yes they will pull just as much... but might look a tiny bit bare. lol Actually probably not. It's that thick fur that is good, doesn't matter how short it is, just how soft and thick. And the amount of fur to be pulled.

Yes, yes, pics please!
