How to feed Calf Manna

How do you feed Calf Manna to rabbits? It's powdered, right? And what is BOSS?

Calf manna is pellets. You can feed in a seperate dish or sprinkle a little on top. Don't over feed. Personally I think it's too unhealthy to feed calf manna. I actually give my does who need a boost powdered animal milk replacer. usually goat kid. Along with Boss which is black oil sunflower seeds. The little black ones you feed to birds not the striped ones. I also have soaked oatmeal in horse coat conditioner which is mostly soy oil with some flax oil and other vitamins and minerals to put condition on a rabbit.

No I dump it on their food and they come running for it.

just start with a teaspoon full on top of the regular pellits not as a regular feed just when they need a boost; say after have a large litter same with the others akane mentioned given.while molting or if they don't want to adsept a buck . i'v found that with good clean cages, fresh water , the good pellits and good green hay these extra rich feeds are not needed
