skinny doe?

I have a doe that had a litter last fall, she lost some weight while she was nursing and i was hoping she would put some of it back on this winter. But she hasn't and seems to be getting worse. I am feeding her 18 percent pellets and some grass hay. I wormed her in mid winter with Ivermectine twice 10 days apart. Could I worm her again? I am about ready to cull her, but thought I would give her one more chance at putting the weight on..

You could try deworming her with something else. Ivermectin doesn't kill everything effectively. Here for large livestock it's suggested to rotate dewormer every year so you use ivermectin one year, fenbendazole one year, etc... and then to do a deworm with a multiwormer like zimectrin gold which is ivermectin and praziquantel every fall before winter to make sure you cover everything. How often is determined by fecals to see how your herd load on the land and wildlife is impacting things. In rabbits ivermectin does not kill roundworms and praziquantel appears to be suggested over ivermectin for tapeworms.
