Newbie Needing NZW Rabbits

Good Day,

My name is David and I live in Madera, CA. I recently have decided to start breeding rabbits for meat and was told that the New Zealand rabbits are the best ones to raise for that purpose. I am interested in getting started and need to purchase 1 Buck and 2 Does. Can anyone assist me as to where to get any?

Thanks,

David

Look at the ARBA web site for a breeder in your area. Are you near stockton? I know there is alot of breeders near there.

If you are not stuck on NZW and want to try Cals, here is a link for you.

"Californian Liquidation"

As many you have read, I need to liquidate my Californian herd. I have about
40+/- working brood Does of really good quality. Most have had multiple
litters. In addition, I have about 15 good to very good Bucks. For now, they
all need to go. Maybe someday I will be able to get back into the bunny
business, but for now, I need to move all of them. Whoever I work with on this
deal, I want the option to stay involved in the background and also have an
option to get some of my stock back in the future, if and when I can afford to
do so (time and money). This is a really good deal for whoever would like to
inherit my work for the past 6 years. Best scenario would be to have one person
take the whole herd. But, with the numbers I have, maybe two, possibly three
individuals could help me out. I'm open to hear any and all proposals. I'm
desperate so deal now while the options are good. I want to move ASAP on this.
One other thing, in hopes that I can get back up and running someday, I'm not
selling any of my cages or equipment. Visit my web site… SoCal Cals (it
isn't up to date, but you can see what I have been working on.
Thanks, Rob Fender Contact me here

I raise Cals for meat and they are great. Much better temperament than some NZW.
