I'm getting a brown Rex male from a friend and i'll be breeding these two to him, they called him caramel so i assume his color matches the name. Any ideas what colors i would get from breeding these two girls with a regular brown rex?

Thanks!

oh! and how do i get those eyes in the off spring? will i have to breed back to the mom to get them or what? I'm not so good with rabbit genetics.

While I love genetics, the timing is bad for doing some research for the answer.

I'm pretty sure the blue eyes is from the veinna gene, and maybe also the dutch pattern

I don't know much, I'm always googling and reading to find things on genetics out.

I also had the VM idea. Looks like you might possibly have a sport-marked bunny there. Not knowing exactly what color "Caramel" is (Opal, Chocolate, Lynx, who knows?), it would be hard to tell. Looks like your Lop's a chestnut. Your sporty is... I don't know, chestnut as well? Hard to tell with those pix.

When you get pix of Caramel, maybe post them for us to make a better guess!

I used to have a rabbit named Caramel. He was an orange.

Its hard too say without kn owing the background colors but chestnut agouti is dominate.if you breed too another chestnut thats what you get however you could get some blacks too.you could get some pretty opals if you breed too a blue.
