When we had mini lops, we butchered them at 12 weeks. By then the cuteness factor that helped them sell started wearing off. So my dh , who sells them for me. would give them back and I would put them in the freezer.

But I wouldn't pourposely buy them as breeding stock for meat rabbits.

Mini Lops can be quite meaty little buggers. They do have the "compact" body type, which is basically a meat-bearing body type the same as the "commercial" body type, but are just too small to qualify for the commercial meat industry. As "fryers," however, they would be pretty small. A roaster or stewer would be a better use for this breed.
