I'm always amazed

New cages, fairly small openings, no loose corners and I'm always amazed when I find one of the kits somewhere they absolutely should not be able to get to!

Last water check/ feeding last night ... a 'walk by' more than anything else and I notice one litter has an odd addition ... a much smaller solid black kit in with the litter of dilutes who are now all out of the nest box and running around.

The litter next door, still in the nest box (10 days) still in the nest box but guess what, no black kit. Stuffed the wanderer back in the nest box. Checked absolutely everything and so far as I can determine, the only way it could have gotten from the nest box next door and the cage where I found it was by transporter, as in Star Trek!

Nobody but me handles the rabbits and I swear, I did not ... in a senior moment ... put this black kit from its nest box in with the litter next door!

It must have been talking with Wayward over the fence.
