clover to timothy ratio for rabbit hay

Hi,
We are going to be planting about 1 acre of our farm in a clover mix to bale up next summer for rabbit food. Can anyone tell me what ratio of Timothy to Clover is best for breeding does (meat rabbits)? We are planting tomorrow, so any quick advice would be appreciated!

both clover and Timothy are very good hay crops for rabbits, depending what kind of clover your planting you may or may not get more than one cutting from it, but timothy should be able to produce more, i would probably do a 50/50 mix, the timothy might take over a bit but thats still ok.

Sorry to be late to the party, but the 50/50 idea will most likely be great. The fiber from the timothy will be an excellent addition, and if you want to (since the stuff spreads all over the place in the fall) just harvest some daily GREEN for the buns. It has the same fiber content green as it does dry, and it's a great way to give the rabbits a good balanced diet during the summer.
