Coccidia

Looking for information about treating cocci in meat rabbits.
I have no idea how to treat this, although I do treat
my goats for cocci if needed. Thank you for any information..

I didn't know ivomectin was indicated for coccidia.
Hmmm, I did not mention these are the liver kind of cocci,
I am ordering herbal dewormer from Molly's, and I do have
Albon on hand, I just don't know the dosage, and if any of you have used it??
Thanks!

Its not. You can use what Ladysown has suggested, or you can buy the medicated pellets from time to time. Medicated feed is good when you have a lot of young starting to eat, that way they can be off the medicated long enough for butchering time.

These are for intestinal worms, not for protozoa such as coccidia.

I have Corid 9.6% and use 5cc per gallon of water for 5 days. I make up a gallon or two as needed and only fill their crocks and water bottles from the gallon jug. I treat about 3-4 times per year as a preventative because mine get a lot of wild greens.
