Good to be back online!!!

Hey Everybody,
I have had trouble with our internet for the past 2 months or so & FINALLY got it back in working order today!!! I presently have 29 baby bunnies ranging in age from 2 weeks to 6 weeks. I did lose 5 bunnies from the bitter cold. Silly things got out of the nest & froze. So, I would have had 35 if all had went well. But I'm totally happy with the 29 I have left. The does with the older litters I rebred today for Easter sales. I hope it will be sucessful. I called around to the photographers in my area & told them of my Rent-a-Bunny program that I am starting this year. I'm renting the bunnies for $10 each for as long as their Easter promotion lasts, whether just a weekend or a full week. I supply the feed for the bunnies, so there will be less chance of digestive upsets. After their promotion, they return the bunnies to me. So far, I have 4 bunnies booked for the program, with addition ones possible! Then I called the feed store & they want to buy 20 bunnies from me this spring once they get chicks! How's that for cool?? PLUS, I plan to advertise bunnies for pets during Easter for $10 each. They will come with a no refund, bring back policy. If they tire of the bunny, or whatever, they don't have to wonder what to do with it.
As for other news, for those of you using Manna Pro feeds, I called them yesterday to tell them how happy I was with the feed. I asked for coupons & they are sending me $40 worth!!!! Just give them a call & ask. The number is on the back of the bag towards the bottom.

Anyway, I've sure missed this board & its wonderful to be back! May all your rabbits have large, healthy litters!

Nice to see you back here, Rabbithappy. No fun having Internet problems! I would go into severe withdrawal!

Glad to have you back Rabbithappy, Mine was down for 2 weeks early last fall & I think I did have withdrawls!

Congratulations on all the new babies & your new endeavors. Sounds like you have alot of good plans & the bunnies to go with them!

Welcome back! I saw an ad on CL recently for someone here in Georgia looking to "rent" rabbits like you are offering, pretty neat!

Oh, yeah... I had a booming "Rent-A-Bunny" business every Easter! Even the fancy motels with restaurants would rent entire litters from me. I had one couple who would rent a white Mini Lop from me every year just to have a professional photo taken of their daughter and the rabbit. Like you, I provided the feed. Those bunnies always returned very well handled, heheheh. Easter picnics and egg hunts were great for having a litter of bunnies, too... they would make an enclosure with hay bales so the kids can climb over them to be with the bunnies.
