doe, a large brown who knows what had 11 popples in Aug, I rebred her back and she had popples last night outside, the temp was 21 not counting wind chill, I didn't open the bundle in the nesting box to count how many she had, but i did just bring her , the babies, nesting box and all and put her in the basement. I must be getting soft, but I figure they have a better chance where it's warmer,

My 2 labs have had their noses pushed right into the celler door for a hr.

My favorite doe is a brown mutt as well! Hope she's got a box full under all that fur! The dogs probably think there's new toys down there!

Just be careful that the dogs dont upset the doe. She could very likely kill or abandoned the litter. Sometimes a doe does not do well with any stress at all. Last fall I purchased 15 cornish cross chicks and allowed them to run free in my rabbitry. 2 days later a experienced doe kindle 10 kits on the wire. I am very sure that the cause was from the "lack of normal" .

mother and babies doing great so far. After spending the night in the basement,they must have warmed up some and came out of the tight ball, i have counted at least 10 and theink there is 12 or 13, this is her second litter, the first time she had 11.
