Buck made the noise then

fell off of all 3 of my doe's. Did 2 yesterday & 1 today. Does that mean he got them for sure? I had only bred the 1 doe & buck late last fall then it got to cold for me so this is still kinda new to me. Funny to watch them though.
I did put the 2 from yesterday back in with him today to, 1 at a time & neither of them seemed interested in him & visa versa. Although the 1 doe has never been bred before & I held her for him but he still made the grunting noise & fell off of her twice.
Should I wait for a month or try again in a couple days?

Sounds like they did the deed to me......while they may not "take" they generally do. In a month you will probably be knee deep in bunnies

While it didn't take long, I do believe your does are well and truly bred.

I don't think I'd put the does to the bucks again in a couple of day, as the doe may already be pregnant, and the buck may start some new kits up. You'd then wind up with different gestational ages in the same pregnant doe. Not a great thing.

I'd let nature take its course.

Looking forward to reading about your new kits in about... oh... 30 days.

They're more than likely bred. I usually do try putting the does back in again in a day or two to see what happens. More often than not, the doe insistently does not let the deed happen again. On a few occasions, they have. But, if you tried them again today and nobody was interested, I'd wait out the cycle and see.
I think it is one of the most hilarious things we see on the farm. I giggle everytime I watch as though it was my first! LOL
Good luck!

Yeah Hawkfamily, it is pretty funny to watch. DH had never witnessed it before so he watched today too! Poor little buns, they get an audience.

Pony, can rabbits really have different gestational kits like that? Do they deliver them at the same time? I have never heard of that in any animal before. Definately wouldn't be a good thing I don't think.
Last fall when I wasn't sure if the doe was bred I put her back in with the buck & she wouldn't let him get too close so then I figured she was.

I'll just wait out my 30-31 days & see what happens.
Trying to stock up on rabbits in the freezer before the snow flys again. I don't like having babies in the winter.

Yeah I would wait 30-31 days and see what happens. You can always feel the doe's tummy in a couple of weeks and see if she with kits.

You guys are so funny watching rabbits do the do..
