Another escapee!
Now I don;t know how this could have happened. DH was cleaning cages today and he opened one of the cals cages on the outside to get out poo put of the corner. He said he just bent down to dump the scoop and out of the corner of his eye saw the rabbit jump...now this rabbit was in a top cage...about 4 ft off the ground. He said he tried to run after it but lost it. Muttered something about kamakazi rabbit. Now keep in mind that the snow is all about melted, no leaves on trees, the place is mostly open and the rabbit is white. Ummm how in the heck can you lose a big white rabbit like this? Now I realize DH had been drinking beer- but come on. Even if I were drunk on my butt I think I could keep track of a fat white rabbit in a feild of brown grass. I got home and went looking, under the buildings, in the tree line, bushes, etc could not find it...but found one of the "wild" ones- a castor. Hoping this doe didn't run off too far and can find her way back. I was going to breed her and the others today too!
